Pam has pioneered the development of curriculum for severely behaviorally dual-diagnosed individuals for The State of Connecticut. She is noted for her efforts in researching and designing multi-sensory environments leading to quantitative research studies and developing new curriculum standards within Federal Intensive Care facilities. Her passion in neuroscience led her to research cognitive processing and positive reward systems in nonverbal behavioral communication. Pam has initiated mammal sensory platform work with one of New England’s leading marine biology institutions. Pam was raised hunting, tracking and showing dogs within the United Kennel Club hound group. She’s the daughter of one of the oldest standing Judges and Master of Hounds, Bernard DeVeau Judge #841. She hopes to contribute to the sport and performance canine with her research and development efforts. In her pursuit to identify inherent breed characteristics, Pam established “The Federation of Working Rhodesian Ridgebacks” an international forum collecting breed trials within working class canines. Her staunch commitment to develop solutions within complex security environments by enhancing the performance and reliability of working class canines inspired her to study the Inherent Breed Characteristics in infant canines. Pam is internationally recognized for the process theory of “Infant Drive Analysis” a collaborative effort between Co-Founder William Shegogue. In a joint effort she has furthered research initiatives in Canine Olfactory, Canine Neuroscience, Canine Physiology, Chemosensor Indicators, Canine Performance Measures, Guided Tracker Systems, Command Sequencing, Canine Performance Gear, Canine Wearable Technology, Biometric Data Science, Canine Artificial Intelligence Applications, Emergency Tactical K9 Response, and Predictive Analytics. Her innovation and vision has led to enhancing canine performance, augmented with technology, while harnessing natural bred drive patterns.

Recognizing the national security demand for canines to operate efficiently, Federal K9 was founded to support our nation’s first responders on every level as a defense in the war against terrorism. In a collective effort with William Shegogue, she proposed the business concept “Haven’s Crest” to the Veterans Administration on Rehabilitation. This is a human service treatment plan for wounded warriors and soldiers returning from active duty in conflict zones.

Her perseverance to build Subject Matter Expert level teams to combat security risks to the United States has resulted in a global network of individuals passionate about upholding democracy. Pam has served as a commissioner for the local economic development committee conducting extensive historical research while strategizing economic stimulus plans for rural preservation in her community. Pam has been nominated for a doctorate to further her studies in business.
