Bernard is native to Trinidad, he’s a charismatic and warm individual. Growing up with a passion towards dogs, Bernard developed a keen sense of distinguishing inherent characteristics favorable in working class breeds. After working with various breeds, Bernard directed his attention toward the Belgian Malinois. Bernard possess the innate ability to select working class dogs with proven genetics, nerves and drive. Based on these principles he’s imported some of the finest pedigrees in the world. Bernard uses a positive based reward system when training for Personal Protection and French Ring Sport. He has a clear understanding of canine cognition which enables him to bring out the best performance in every dog. The positive training technique Bernard uses provides each canine a solid foundation and trustworthy temperament that is reliable and sound. Bernard was chosen to further canine research and development programs for Federal K9 based on these qualities as a trainer. In his vast experience, Bernard displays the extraordinary ability to select the highest drive working class canines to produce solid foundation breeding stock. He furthers his canine career with Federal K9 implementing, contributing and developing bio-sensory input and Infant Canine Analyst research programs. Federal K9 has appointed Bernard in the development of breeding program initiatives in conjunction with research and development to produce the most reliable working canines in the United States.
